CONDITIONS FOR PUBLICATION

ABSTRACT PROPOSAL

Whoever wishes to submit a proposal must send it in the corresponding section of the platform, with an abstract of up to 400 words, in accordance with the template attached to the CALLS tab.
If the proposal has been accepted, the author(s) must register by paying the registration fee and send the paper by the established date.
The format of the PAPER must be adapted to the rules set by the Congress management. Papers must be structured according to the publication rules provided below. Only original and unpublished papers will be accepted (an anti-plagiarism check will be carried out), which will be studied by the Scientific Committee for possible publication. Papers will be accepted in Spanish or English.
The length will not exceed 7500 words, all-inclusive and following the instructions that can be downloaded from the attached document and template

SPECIFIC RULES

TITLE

Title in Spanish and English of the paper, which should summarise as concisely and clearly as possible the main idea of the research. Specialised abbreviations should be avoided. Approximately 70 characters.

SUBTITLE

Optional. In Spanish and English. Approximately 40-50 characters.

AUTHORSHIP

Name and surname of all authors. In order to correctly identify each author, especially in the case of common surnames, and in order to give visibility to women by name, both surnames and first name should be included.

INSTITUTIONAL AFFILIATION OF THE AUTHOR(S)

Institution, city, and country of the institution where the researcher works or collaborates, and, if applicable, the institution and country where the research was conducted. Research articles that include the publication of results from funded research should indicate the source of funding here.

ABSTRACT IN SPANISH

Summary in Spanish about the content of the work, briefly addressing the following aspects: background, methodology, techniques used, results, and main conclusions. Without specialized abbreviations. It should not exceed 400 words.

Same summary translated into English.

KEYWORDS IN SPANISH

Main terms that identify the research carried out. From 2 to 5 keywords in Spanish, separated by semicolon.

Font and size. Titles in Arial 14. Text in Arial 12 single spaced.

LENGTH

Scientific contributions should not exceed 7500 words.

CONTENT OF THE CONTRIBUTION

INTRODUCTION

This section should include:

  • Purpose of the research.
  • Background, highlighting the most relevant contributions and perspectives from which the phenomenon or researched topic has been studied.
  • Objectives: they must be clear, achievable, and measurable.
  • Justification, which should include the novelty and originality of the presented research.
  • It may contain subsections (1.1. – 1.2. – 1.3. – etc.).
DESIGN AND METHOD

This section should include:

  • Formal object: phenomenon or topic studied and the perspective or viewpoint from which it is approached.
  • Type of research: exploratory, descriptive, explanatory, qualitative, quantitative, experimental, quasi-experimental, deductive, inductive, longitudinal, cross-sectional, etc.
  • Hypotheses: their existence depends on the type of research (exploratory and descriptive research typically do not have hypotheses).
  • Scope of study: includes the work universe, the units of work (temporal, territorial, analytical).
  • Sample, if applicable, with an indication of the method used for its selection and the type of sampling.
  • Analysis variables: should be related to the objectives and hypotheses.
  • Research techniques used, with a justification for the methods employed to ensure their validity and reliability.
  • It may contain subsections (2.1. – 2.2. – 2.3. – etc.).
FIELDWORK AND DATA ANALYSIS

This section should include:

  • A brief explanation of the steps followed during data collection, indicating the dates during which it was carried out.
  • Type of data analysis used.
  • It may contain subsections (3.1. – 3.2. – 3.3. – etc.).
RESULTS

This is the most important part of the article and must present the main discoveries made.

  • Whenever possible, use graphs and tables to present the data.
  • When using graphs or tables, do not duplicate the information in text format.
  • The length will depend on the type of results obtained; however, the most relevant ones should be included in a summarized form, explained clearly and simply while maintaining scientific rigor.
  • No citations from other authors or self-citations will be included in this section.
  • The writing style should be clear and concise.
  • It may contain subsections (4.1. – 4.2. – 4.3. – etc.).
CONCLUSIONS AND DISCUSSION

This section should include:

  • Synthesis of the main findings related to the formal object of the research.
  • Confirmation or refutation of the hypotheses.
  • Conclusions should not include citations from other authors or self-citations, but they may be included in the discussion when comparing the obtained results with those from other research.
  • It may contain subsections (5.1. – 5.2. – 5.3. – etc.).
REFERENCES

According to APA 7th edition guidelines (American Psychological Association). The bibliography used—only those works cited in the text—will be collected at the end of the paper, alphabetically ordered by the author’s last name and first name. Last name and first name should be repeated in each entry.

OTHER INFORMATION

PAPER SIZE

The paper size is DIN A4 (width 21 cm and height 29.7 cm).

FOOTNOTES

Footnotes should be located at the foot of the page, never at the end of the article, and should be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals. Footnotes should not exceed a maximum of 60 words. Notes containing only bibliographical quotations should be avoided.

FIGURES, ILLUSTRATIONS AND PHOTOGRAPHS
  • No figure should occupy more than one page. They must be separated from the text by Arabic numerals.
  • Figures must be represented with sufficient contrast.
  • The size of the lines and the thickness of the lines should be appropriate for possible reduction.
  • Explanation of conventional symbols should be given at the bottom of the figure.
  • Photographs or images must be sharp.
  • The format shall be TIFF or JPEG and shall have a minimum resolution of 300 dots per inch. In all cases, the data source from which the figure has been produced must be indicated in the caption.
  • All images and figures must be included in the body of the article and must also be sent by e-mail in JPG format in a separate folder.
TABLES, GRAPHS AND CHARTS
  • They must be numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals. Each table will have a brief title and none of them will occupy more than one page.
  • Tables, images, maps and graphic elements in general, in addition to being incorporated into the body of the work, must be submitted as they are obtained from the original programme, including references to their location and always in black and white or greyscale.
  • As in the case of figures, the source of data from which the table has been drawn up must be indicated at the foot of the table.
  • All tables, graphs and charts must be included in the body of the article.
